There are a couple of different options for the treatment of liver cancer surgery. These options are:
Surgery at the surface partial hepatectomy is a surgical removal of liver cancer.
Liver transplant: In this procedure, the diseased liver is removed and replaced in part or in whole healthy liver. Liver transplantation is available in selected patients, and donor liver can be strangers or family members who meet certain criteria.
Radiofrequency ablation: This is the use of a probe that has small electrodes that kill cancer cells. The probe is inserted through an incision in the abdomen, under general anesthesia.
Chemotherapy can be prescribed to treat liver cancer. Drugs for work in eliminating cancer cells multiply rapidly, but there are other healthy cells in the body, multiply as fast as the hair follicle cells. Unfortunately, many chemotherapy drugs will not be able to distinguish the two attacking healthy cells and cause side effects like hair loss.
