Prevention Of Endometrial Cancer

To reduce the risk of endometrial cancer, we recommend:

Talk to your doctor about the risks of hormone therapy after menopause. If you are considering hormone replacement therapy helps control the symptoms of menopause, talk with your doctor the risks and benefits. If you have not had a hysterectomy, only replace estrogen after menopause may increase the risk of endometrial cancer. When a combination of estrogen and progestin can reduce this risk.
